Our highest chip grade, cut one-sided: a black, oil-rich resin face on every chip. 100% Vietnamese agarwood, never treated or oil-soaked.

Premium one-sided oud chips, graded 5A

TH Oud Vietnam’s 5A one-sided agarwood chips sit at the top of our A–5A chip range. A one-sided (one-faced) chip is cut so that the full resin layer sits on one face, with the plain wood behind it. On our 5A grade, that face is black and saturated with natural oil you can see and feel on the surface.

Place the resin face up on low heat and the oil warms and bubbles slowly, releasing a rich, long-lasting oud fragrance for the majlis, for guests or for scenting clothes.

100% Vietnamese agarwood 

Every 5A chip is pure Vietnamese agarwood. We never pre-treat our chips, soak them in oil or add color. The scent you get comes only from the wood’s own resin. Batches are small and hand-selected, so stock is limited.

Specifications: The majority of 1 side is resin, the other side is mostly resin. Little white wood left. No chemicals, no artifical color added
